Scrapbooking Rolodex Mini Album Day 33

by Rachel on September 15, 2012

Have you ever heard of Mulberry Paper. I learned about it way back in the day when I was a teenager and just starting to scrapbook. It is a paper that looks handmade and is a bit transparent. It probably has many uses but I was taught to wet the edge and then tear it away…it ends up looking feathery. It has a very artsy, whimsical look. I’ve used it on today’s rolodex mini layout. I’ve got it on my list to do a little YouTube tutorial on it so stay tuned….

So for this mini layout, I’ve used a subtle green patterned paper for the back ground. Then I cut the mulberry paper to size, wet the top edge and tore it for a very pretty feathered look. Then I added the wallet size photo with the ribbon along the left edge. And that’s it! So, simple…have a mentioned that I love doing rolodex cards?…I get the fun of working with papers and embellishments and I get the memories documented but it takes just a little bit of time and is frugal ’cause it uses just a bit of supplies. : )
